That’s the message from this year’s ‘Bell Let’s Talk’ campaign to help end stigma surrounding mental illness.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is an evidence-based form of ‘talk therapy’ used for a wide range of concerns, including:
- post-traumatic stress
- sleep difficulties
- self esteem challenges.
CBT is a structured, action-oriented form of therapy where the client and therapist work collaboratively towards goals. The therapist acts as a coach and teacher, helping the client learn new techniques to create lifelong coping strategies. Homework is used after each session as a tool to help reinforce new skills.
